This book is an excellent book for anyone considering a career as a project manager. Not only does it describe key functions of the role, but it also indicates the level at which the various roles sit and some of the key skills required to be successful.
I particularly like the fact that it doesn't attempt to go to in depth in any area, but Instead provides a broad overview with pointers as to where to look next. I think this is a very useful approach which makes this a key resource for those either starting out, all those who have unwittingly fallen into the role. I would highly recommend the book.
